Amani means peace in Swahili, and we just returned from a Christian ministry that trains and employs single women in textiles. We met many refugees with smiles as big as Kenya is, and their hearts even bigger. Jesus has transformed them even in the midst of hard times. It was really fun and encouraging to talk with the ladies.

This most likely will be our last post for awhile. We are headed places without wifi. Please pray for us! We have one more soccer game and canvassing outing before heading to a village about four hours away. Steve preaches Sunday at Zion Road Baptist and then we head to Raganga right after Sunday’s lunch. Our family will be in the villages until next Thursday evening. We will post an update as soon as we return.

Thank you for praying!

We have been out of the country on our own mission trip, so it’s been fun to catch up in one big read. How good our God is in working out each detail as you go in His work. Still praying for you.

Can’t wait to hear from you. Everyone is praying for a fruitful ministry in the villages. Love to all of you!!
